What we collect
When you call. Calls are answered by an automated assistant. It records your phone number and what you tell it: your name, callback number, city or ZIP code, the kind of tree work you need, and your description of the tree and anything it is touching or could damage. Calls may be recorded and transcribed so the assistant can work and so a short summary can be passed to the company your call is transferred to.
When you use the website. The website has no forms, no accounts and no email sign-up, so you do not type personal information into it. The hosting provider may log basic technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. Page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. If you choose Español, Google Translate is loaded and a small cookie named googtrans remembers your choice.
How we use it
To connect you with an independent, locally owned tree service company that works in your area, and to give that company what it needs to help you or call you back. We may also review call records to fix problems with the line, handle questions about a call and keep track of referrals.
Who we share it with
We share your name, phone number, location and the description of your tree job with the independent tree service company your call is transferred to, including the short summary it hears before it picks up, so that it can contact you, look at the job and quote it. Otherwise we share information only with service providers that help run the phone line and website, such as telephone, call-handling, transcription and hosting providers, and only as far as they need it to do that work, or where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.
Text messages and marketing
We do not send marketing text messages or emails. The company you are connected with may contact you about your request under its own policies.
How long we keep it
We keep call details only as long as needed to connect calls, handle questions about them, keep records of referrals and meet legal or accounting obligations.
Your choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by calling (689) 407-5379. Information already passed to a tree service company is held by that company, so contact it directly about its records.
Children
The line and website are meant for adults arranging tree work for a home or property. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
